Distinguished Gentleman's Ride — Split 2024

Signals Behind The Work

Photographer in Split

Based in Split. The work knows the Diocletian's Palace alleys, the Riva at golden hour, HNK Split, Marjan, and Klis Fortress — and uses them deliberately.

Most of my photography work happens in and around Split. The city has unusual visual logistics — narrow stone alleys that don't take direct light well, a waterfront that's overshot in the wrong way ten times a day, late-summer haze that flattens distance shots. Working here for years means I know what time the Cathedral bell tower has open shadow, where the Pjaca looks staged at noon, and which Marjan path opens up for a Hvar-channel drone shot. That site knowledge replaces a lot of guessing.

How I Approach It

For Split projects I treat location as half the brief. We pick the exact alley, hotel, palace gate, or beach bar, walk it at the time we will shoot, and lock the plan before anyone wastes a half-day on test frames. Drone permits, palace restrictions, and HNK access are pre-arranged. The output reads like Split intentionally — not stock Mediterranean coastline.

What You Get

  • Pre-shoot walk of the actual Split locations, not Google Maps screenshots
  • Drone work where permits and lines of sight allow (Riva, Marjan, Klis, off-shore)
  • Time-of-day planning around the city's real light, not generic hours
  • Knowledge of palace, HNK, and harbor access protocols
  • Bilingual EN/HR captions and SEO-ready file naming when needed

Best Fit

  • Hotels and restaurants inside or around Split looking for honest interior + lifestyle visuals
  • Brands shooting Split campaigns who need a local lead instead of flying production in
  • Event organisers running Split or Klis-area programs
  • Real estate and architecture firms documenting completed Split properties
  • International photographers and producers who need a Split-based partner

Common Questions

Can you shoot inside Diocletian's Palace?

Yes — most palace zones are shootable with light planning. UNESCO no-tripod zones, palace gate access, and the basement passages each have specific rules. We confirm in advance.

Do you cover events at Split hotels?

Yes. Repeat coverage with Hotel Radisson Blu Split, Hotel Briig, and Hotel Cornaro across hospitality, brand activation, and AV-integration case studies.

Can you fly drone in Split?

Drone work in Split has constraints — the old town has no-fly zones, but Marjan, Klis, and the bay open up for permitted flight windows. We plan permits and time-of-day before the shoot.

Do you cover Klis, Solin, or Trogir as part of Split work?

Yes. The wider Split metro area — Klis Fortress, Solin's archaeological zone, and Trogir — is part of the Split service area and travels in the same engagement.
